Story Begins January 25th, 2010
This was the page announcing the new start for Takozushi.
There had been various troubles surrounding the start of the project; illness, computer problems, and my own general burnout.
What makes this interesting, at least to me, is that it preserves the original sketch work for the Ika Takozushi title page.
My original notion was to have 'Ika Takozushi' embossed on the tentacle; I soon realized that this would be hard to read. A redesign later had bold letters for the English title located below in a dramatic font.
'Jenny Plenty' is one of my many silly nicknames at home. It
kind of rhymes, sort of, I guess. If you slur the words. "Jenny Plenny".
It is so hard to get a project rolling. There is like some kind of barrier, some wall to punch through. Maybe I just balk at the inevitable massive effort that I am facing.
